The durometer is the standard model for measuring hardness (Shore OO) of foams, moss, microcellular rubber, and human skin. The durometer consists of a metal part that incorporates the measuring head and a glare-proof clock of 360º with a precision of 0.5 hardness units. It complies with ASTM D 2240 standards. The first shipment includes a factory calibration certificate. The durometer can be recalibrated at any time with an ISO certificate (additional cost). As an additional component, we offer a testing station for this durometer. Whether you use the durometer as a handheld meter for occasional checks or at the testing station, you will always obtain a hardness result of maximum precision and reproducibility.
