Adhesion meter series 525 / measures adhesion on any coating that has an adhesive / traction measurement according to ASTM D 4541 / 

indication of the measurement range in N/mm² and lb/in²

The series 525 adhesion meter is used to measure adhesion by traction according to ASTM D 4541. The adhesion meter can examine all coatings to which a conventional adhesive adheres. The device operates mechanically and does not require any power supply. Therefore, mobile use is possible. The robust and easy-to-handle design of our adhesion meter allows the user to use the device under difficult working conditions. Unlike the cross-cut method, the adhesion meter provides results that are generally not directly comparable to the results provided by the cross-cut method. This is because the application of load in the cross-cut test is not performed perpendicularly, but by shear forces. In the adhesion meter, the head is glued to the surface to be examined and then pulled off by rotating the tester, thus checking the adhesion. Therefore, with the adhesion meter, all coatings that adhere to conventional adhesives can be measured.
