Universal wattmeter with RS 232 interface

 and evaluation software to analyze power consumption

The PCE-PA 6000 wattmeter is a tabletop instrument that measures effective power, apparent power, power factor, energy consumption, alternating current and voltage, direct current and voltage, resistance, and frequency. Its large, easy-to-read LCD screen measuring 93 x 52 mm provides various results simultaneously, e.g., watts, cos φ, ACV, ACA. Current and power measurements can be performed directly with the included test leads or indirectly with current clamps. The wattmeter also offers the possibility to connect industrial current converters with a transmission ratio of 100/5 A or 1000/5 A. With the optional PCE PA ADP power adapter, devices with grounded plugs (up to 16 ACA) can be connected easily and safely for measurement and analysis with the power meter. The device features an RS-232 data interface, and with the software, you can transmit data to a PC for easier processing and storage. Therefore, it is the ideal device for use in the workshop or for measuring power, as well as for detecting faults in equipment on-site.
