The laser tachometer PCE-DT 65 is a digital or mechanical meter, battery-powered and non-contact that can be used by built-in laser or with mechanical adapters. The PCE-DT 65 optical digital tachometer is ideal for determining the revolutions of machines, parts, and equipment (motors and belt drives). The non-contact measurement of the tachometer is performed with the help of a reflective tape that is stuck on the rotating part and reflects the laser. It can also measure revolutions or lengths of moving objects using the tachometer with mechanical adapters (for example, on conveyor belts). The mechanical measurement of revolutions is performed with a tip adapter that is placed over the shaft of the moving part. For speed or length measurements, a measuring wheel is placed on the tachometer adapter.
