Salinometer for conductivity resistant to water and dust with a high measurement range
The HI 9033 salinometer is a device that stands out for its waterproof housing and can therefore be applied in almost any terrain, whether for technicians, engineers, or individuals. With this salinometer, you can take measurements, for example, in wastewater, drinking water, ponds, streams, ... The salinometer has four measurement ranges of 0.0 to 199.9 µS/cm, 0 to 1999 µS/cm, 0.00 to 19.99 mS/cm, and 0.0 to 199 mS/cm. The integrated temperature sensor in the probe provides temperature-compensated measurements and ensures greater accuracy.

Conductivity (Definition)
Electrical conductivity is a measure of the amount of (ions) particles deposited in water. This is determined through the concentrations of dissolved salts. Conductivity is influenced by the temperature of the water. An increase in water temperature by 1° Celsius raises conductivity by 2%. Therefore, conductivity is related to a fixed temperature (most devices do this automatically). The result is given in µS/cm (microsiemens per cm) or mS/cm (millisiemens per cm). The definition for the conductivity of water and aqueous solutions.
Inferior a 5 µS/cm : Agua completamente desalada
100 to 1000 µS/cm: Tap water
Around 50000 µS/cm: Seawater
