With the adhesion test station PCE-PST 1 you can check the adhesion of edges and substrates. The test stand for checking adhesion allows you to define the processing quality. Speed, travel, force and angle settings are fixed. The rollers and guide surface decrease the friction value. Clamping jaws and guide rollers guarantee highly reproducible values. All this reduces the errors that the user may generate.

The test stand for checking adhesion PCE-PST has been developed for forces up to 500 N. With a stroke of about 100 mm and a speed of 0.3 m/min, it is possible to check an edge in less than a minute by untrained personnel. Once the edge to be checked is introduced, the measurement is performed in automatic mode once the trigger force reaches 20 N. Once the test is finished, a statistical indication will appear on the screen of the adhesion test stand, indicating the MIN, MAX, and average values. If needed, it is possible to perform the measurement through software, which will additionally provide a diagram of the force over time.
